These words of Jesus convey the very essence of love.  True love is true obedience.  When your heart longs for the love of your life, you will give everything to your love, the most important person in your life.  Jesus wants that kind of devotion from us.  Only total obedience to Christ will produce a total relationship with God. 

 

We must strive for total obedience to God.  We must know that only God can be trusted with our total obedience.  He will never let us down.  He always knows what is best for us.  He has the right plan for our lives if we will just obey Him.
